Some sites have a little "eye" button that you can toggle in the password field, or a checkbox below it that says "Show my password" (or a radio button to select yes or no, or something like "Password Visibility: Show / Hide") giving the user an option to show the characters behind the dots or asterisks, if in a private place where no one is looking over your shoulder and you don't want to make typos. Sometimes I am clumsy on my phone's virtual keys and make errors when typing, so I wonder if this feature could be added.
You shouldn't directly link the server here. This circle isn't automatically visible to non-registered users - posts don't show up on the front page - but it is visible to everyone, including non-registered lurkers and stalkers.
i just joined and they seem to have a strict process you must follow in order to be accepted, i think they'll be ok!
I'd recommend that they restrict access to the publicly viewable parts of the discord (e.g. the landing channel) to only unverified users, then. The problem with a public link like this is that even if people with bad intentions can't access private channels, they can still access the members list and use that to harass or blacklist users.
