In reddit, using res, there is a "big editor" button for posts/comments where you can toggle a separate pane for a long post/comment so you can see what you are doing without continual scrolling up and down

If you're not suggesting a feature so much as a change to how the site was made to function, or suggesting a change to the rules, guidelines, or mission of the site, (ie Philosophy of Ovarit posts) use /o/Ovarit.
