Saving comments
I love that we can save posts on Ovarit, and I thought it would be a wonderful idea if we could save comments too. I searched and saw a few posts from 2020 suggesting this feature, was it ever explored by the team of Ovarit?
The degree to which people delete old comments has made me put this lower on the list.
We would have to decide if the comments that were deleted by the commenter, saved by other user, would be just deleted from people’s saved folder or of they would have the username removed and a deleted indicator.
To some degree, I don’t see the point of making a save feature that doesn’t actually save the content. But we also try to let people scrub their material if they want to.
I would love this too, even if some comments ended up getting deleted.
I think Reddit premium even had the ability to sort saved comments in folders. Which seems super useful.
Right now I tend to copy comment links in a note on my phone.
