Highlight "new comments since last visit" on posts
One thing I noticed about [one of the platforms we used while waiting for this site to open] is that they had a feature wherein upon returning to a post, new comments would be highlighted(background) in yellow to denote what is new since your last visit to the post. I would like to submit a suggestion that we implement this feature.
Apparently this is also a feature of a premium account on [the original platform we've come from]. Whether it's a perk for donating to the site or baked into the default site, I think this would be a very useful addition to the features here. It quickly became my favorite new feature [of that previous site], especially for threads with longer comment trees as a way to quickly catch up on new comments vs the usual sorting and then trying to find what's new manually.

This post should be twinned with the one about how women should never see a man's sexual attention as a prize and never base their worth on a man's sexual interest in them because if they weren't around a seagull would do, or a hole in the road, a man local to us when I was growing up was even caught having sex with his car. Apparently the creep in this story attempted to put his penis in the poor bird's mouth, the gull should have ripped it off.

Good catch! That is poorly worded. We all have mental health, just some have worse mental health than others.
Weird how plenty of women have a history of mental illness (usually caused by male abuse) and we don't torture or sexually assault people or animals.
