Can push notifications be added?

I was wondering if there could be push notifications that alert us to new comments to posts or replies from others when we're not on the site? I often times miss when someone has replied to me because I can't get alerts directly on my phone. I understand if it's not possible, I just thought I should make the suggestion in case anyone else liked this idea too :)

You can suggest features and other changes to the site here.

Please try to be specific, and check to see that no one else has made the same suggestion.

If you're not suggesting a feature so much as a change to how the site was made to function, or suggesting a change to the rules, guidelines, or mission of the site, (ie Philosophy of Ovarit posts) use /o/Ovarit.
