Add a non-public section to the website?

Recently in a post it came up that it might be a good idea to have a private section of the website that is not accessible to anyone who isn’t a registered user. I know that not all circles are directly accessible to the public which imo is great but with the “circle of the day” section and the fact that the top posts of any given day are always public, there’s always a chance of any post being seen.

It would be nice to have a private section since this is relatively exclusive seeing that we all needed a code to join so there is definitely an amount of safety here that you wouldn’t get on reddit or other forums because not just anyone can contribute, but since members of the trans community still definitely browse here it’s never completely private/safe. (I know there are probably some of the trans community that have gotten a code in some way or another but I feel this still holds.) If we had a section like that it would be more comfortable to talk about more personal things, maybe potentially talking about meetups, or even signs to drop in conversation that only other GCs will recognize.

I think a single completely non-public circle (where posts won’t go into the top posts section that’s on the home page, and it will never be a circle of the day) would be great but maybe we would eventually have multiple completely non-public circles or even some kind of group chat or something? I don’t know but I think it would definitely add another really helpful dimension to this site! Another option could be excluding certain already formed circles that aren’t readily public from the circle of the day/top post sections to make them completely private.

Edit: maybe we could also have some kind of gatekeeping from the private section of the website by what level you’re on, like how you can only share a code if you get to a level 15?
