I honestly think it this is a historic moment. I have never felt so empowered by the sisterhood. Reddit shuts us down, and capable skilled, intelligent women defiantly, in the matter of about a month, create a platform every bit as good as Reddit. This is pure defiance of patriarchy. I think it would be really cool if you made karma draws once a month. Whoever contributes the best content could get an autograph and postcard maybe? Or even market it so MK Fain can reach her goals for the backend of Spinster. IDK what kind of costs the backend would have for that.
Maybe I'm overly sentimental and nerdy, but this is a testament to the power and strength of sisterhood. WWII? Women showed how capable they were resulting in our ability to vote. Proving how truly little we need men.
-they thought they buried us but we were seeds-
For those asking, it's a @moleatthedoor (on X) creation.
She (or he) has now created an update, where the remaining rings have the male symbol.
Righteous vandalism.👏
Edit: Upon closer inspection the + unfortunately looks phototshopped in to me, but still cool.
I didn't "grow up" with Photoshop and would love to know what criteria you use to spot potential fakes quickly.
It's one of those things that I have always told myself I need to learn but the years slip by and voila! I still don't know it.
I know it's not even a generational thing because my teenaged niece and I will just about weekly try to figure out if a pic is real or not.
Usually I use the "if it's too good to be true it probably is" but now so does my niece 😅
I'm ok with "cynical" but I'd rather we were "educated."
We are both good at spotting " bent bones " on people pics, but beyond we could use some pointers.
I couldn't tell you specifically, other than things just look "off". lol
I see what you mean, the plus doesn’t follow the positioning of the rest of the ring.
The ring is turned, so the plus should follow the same rules of perspective
I hear you, I can't tell what pics are fake to save my life
Yes, this is amazing. Powerful. (However it was accomplished.) It's going in my image file along with the women throwing their X's. Thanks for posting it!
Is that really a Banksy? Doesn't he do stuff like this?
This is great. I might have to hang this up
I also like how the yellow ring is hard to see from far away, so when you take females out of the Olympics (or degrade them within it, as has been happening), you end up with what kinda looks like a limp male body part... lmao.
Based Banksy? Or a based copycat? Either way, cool!
