ResolvedMore volatility in "top posts"?
Posted August 1, 2020 by gender_is_oppression in Suggestions

I noticed that for the top fifteen-ish posts (default sorting order) on the GenderCritical circle, all posts are at least a day old, and the vast majority of them are at least 3 days old. This despite the fact that there are many new posts in the circle as well.

Maybe this is just a function of the fact that the circle is still new and with a larger volume of posts this will change, but it'd be nice to get more variety. In r/GC it seemed like new posts would rise to the top much faster as they gained upvotes. Not gonna lie, it's nice seeing my own "Britney" post still up at the top despite being three days old, but I'd rather others get their "days in the sun" if it's a reasonable tweak..less scrolling necessary for us to find new content! (Like I said, I don't know if it's something that would need to be tweaked often as the circle grows...)

Edit: Looks like the issue is fixed now! Thanks developers.
