It is so good. I am obsessed.

Short synopsis: ghosts are menacing Britain, teenagers are the only ones with the ability to see them, so they’re the ones fighting them. Spooky!

Our protagonist, Lucy, is written like an actual living girl, which is nice. Her male colleagues/friends treat her with respect and like an actual human person.

It is based on a book series of the same name, which I have now read twice since finishing the show, and are amazing.

Ooh great, I'll check it out! I tried watching The Watchful Eye yesterday but turned it off after three women awkwardly gave each other their pronouns.

All right, I'd already given up. Too teen ish. But I'll give it another try!

I read Lockwood &co and it’s one of my top series. As good as Harry Potter, if you don’t mind :-)

Yeah, it isn't the usual teen drama sludge, I'm enjoying it as well

Having watched it yet but read the books when I was younger and really enjoyed them then!

My daughter (10) is into ghosts, mystery, and spookiness in general right now, so I thought this would be a good one for us to watch together. Was I ever right - we both loved it. Just the right amount of spook, excellent concept and storyline, and almost no teen romance stuff.

Mild book spoiler: there is romance, but it’s like, Jane Austen romance. Not lust and objectification. It is perfection.
