I was going to watch it, but then I read the male leads OWN WORDS from a podcast where he describes raping a masseuse. He says now “it wasn’t real” and “he was just pushing the line on being shocking” or whatever other lame reason. There was never a criminal complaint - I can’t help but feel this is potentially an immigrant woman who wouldn’t have filed a complaint and would not have heard about a random podcast. But I don’t think I can watch it now.
ETA he’s not the lead (Steven Yeun) but he’s a secondary character and the show has used a lot of his art.
Just my two cents, but I don't think the people getting called masc lesbians here are actually trans-identified. I think they're actually just butch lesbians, and honestly they might not even be that, they might just have short hair or don't wear makeup or something.
TIMs are quick to point out any women that don't do all of the performative feminine things required because calling these women masc make them feel better that these women are "passing just by existing" aka look like a woman even while doing stereotypical 'masculine' things.
Yep. He’s heterosexual and only wants stereotypical feminine women.
