Sad to write this and dispute the other poster but the overall premise of this show is effeminate gay man dates manly gay man who is ashamed of him
and then the series ends with "effeminate gay man cant possibly be a gay man he's actually a trans woman" and he starts to transition while his coworkers say "atta girl"
This is so disappointing.
"trans the gay away" This should be banned for conversation therapy
It would be great if he came to realize that being A Woman Now won't get hot straight-acting gay men taking him proudly to dinner any more than being a twink in eyeliner and heels did. And stops pretending to be something he's not and everybody claps.
I'm sure the nice gay nerd who fancies him won't care about his identity however.
If they swapped gay men with lesbians then they'd have TIF Scott Newgent's story. Then for they could do another season where the character realizes that trans ideology is a total sham, and their body is now wrecked from hormones and surgeries and they really were just gay and didn't need to hurt themselves to be loved.
So its basically "Conversion Therapy: The Series"
Also, please tell me it doesn't end with manly gay man deciding that he's queer/pansexual and living happily ever after with the effeminate TIM
I think more likely sweet nerdy guy doing so because the manlyman is clearly not nice and the other one is goopily in love with our hero.
Lemme guess. Sweet Nerdy Guy is straight? But Effeminate Gay Man's magical woman soul won him over?

Ugh, disappointed Kim Cattrall is in this. Loved her as Samantha, obvi, and that she wasn’t in the awful reboot (tho I guess she is doing a scene in that now, too). Meh
