I just finished watching this, and I loved it. I'm really into grilling and BBQ. There's something about the primal way of cooking combined with nostalgia for cooking with my grandparents that puts me in my element in front of a grill or a fire. No electric or gas grills for me! All fire all the way!

This show stood out to me for how kind all the contestants were to each other. Each time the going got tough they supported each other. It was just a joy to watch.

Does anyone have any cooking show or cooking contest shows to recommend that they enjoy? I need something new to watch now. I'm considering the Great British Bake-off (I think that's the name) because it has a similar wholesome reputation. Baking isn't exactly my thing, but anything I could learn from I would enjoy.
