What the fuck is wrong with them? Like seriously. I personally enjoy watching the show -- it's like fast food: not very good, but enjoyable enough when you don't have anything else. I honestly just love the dresses, the music, and the historical backdrop. Plus, when I'm depressed or something, shows that lack substance fill the void in my heart because I can just turn my brain off and digest whatever's being presented -- just like fast food.

So, why the hate? Well, buckle up, sisters cuz this is might get a bit detailed. I'm a woman from an Islamic country, and my father basically has control over my entire life. I can transfer this control over to my future husband someday, yay! Of course if I get lucky and escape to a better country, things could change.

So anyways, when I watched Marina and Cressida get the shorter ends of the sticks, I sort of felt...seen, I guess? That this is the reality for many women, women like me. I mean I do hope to get my freedom one way or another, I'm a fighter, but seriously. It meant a lot to me. I felt represented. I also wished they got happier endings.

But oh boy, the fandom... Seriously, I never expected my fellow women to be so vicious. "Oh, Cressida deserved what she got cuz she was a meanie to Pen 😭" "Marina deserved what she got cuz she was a meanie to Pen + she knew what she was getting into." Aww, sweetie, fuck you and your entire bloodline.

Seriously, what the actual FUCK is wrong with my fellow women? What happened to being a girls' girl? I'm honestly so disappointed. I play video games, which is a male-centric hobby that naturally attracts immense misogyny in the community, but SURPRISINGLY enough, even male gamers have been more open-minded to my perspective on the sexism in video games compared to Bridgerton fans.

Forgive me if I sound butthurt, but tbh I very much am. Characters like Anthony get exonerated because they're "good" now, but the women can get the worst endings possible and fully deserve them because they were "bitches." I'm honestly losing faith in humanity. So many of these women live in western countries, so it feels extra hurtful -- it feels like a slap in the face.

Sorry, my emotions are all over the place cuz I'm so disappointed in my fellow women. I wish Cressida got that money and escaped.
