I loved this show when it came out. I was a raging libfem so the TIM character didn't bother me, but I really connected to the experiences the teenage characters went through such as the death of a parent, discovering how exploitable sexuality is, trying to fill emotional validation through sex, and even the domestic violence that one of the characters goes through. I sobbed during the stand alone episode with Zendaya's character and her sponsor because it was filled with so much raw emotion.
But after peaking in early 2020, I'm not sure I can continue watching this show. If anyone else has watched this show, I would love to read your opinions.
I hate them so much for saying things like this. Freaking sick man wishing unwanted pregnancy on women like its just a fun little joke because they know that unlike real women, they can never be forced to give birth. They are calling themselves women while constantly making a mockery of actual oppression women face because its nothing to them
And also shows their extreme overreactions to any disagreement.
This guy wishes an unwanted pregnancy on women for downvoting his comment on a website.
EDIT: and more so, he's speaking directly about lesbians. Which means he wants lesbians to be raped and get pregnant as a result. Absolutely disgusting, vile monster.
These men deserve no compassion when this is how they treat others. Compassion and empathy are important, but they go both ways.
