Looking for TVSome really good shows that center female characters and experiences
I've recently enjoyed the following shows, all with strong and very interesting young women as lead characters:
End of the F*ing World on Netlix "A budding teen psychopath and a rebel hungry for adventure embark on a star-crossed road trip in this darkly comic series based on a graphic novel."
Unorthodox on Netflix "A Hasidic Jewish woman in Brooklyn flees to Berlin from an arranged marriage and is taken in by a group of musicians — until her past comes calling."
I Am Not Okay With This on Netflix "Angsty Syd navigates high school awkwardness, family drama and an unrequited crush on her best friend while trying to rein in her budding superpowers."
Undone on Amazon Prime Video "Undone is a half hour, genre-bending, animated series that explores the elastic nature of reality through its central character, Alma, a twenty-eight-year-old living in San Antonio, Texas. After getting into a car accident and nearly dying, Alma finds she has a new relationship to time. She develops this new ability in order to find out the truth about her father's death."
