DiscussionWho are some of your favorite people from the Animanga Industry?
I must say mine are Michi Himeno and Shingo Araki ( they were a duo ) ... Some fans thought they were married but they were friends and coworkers...
They worked on some of my favorite Anime series... Namely The Rose of Versailles, Saint Seiya and Yu-Gi-Oh! ... All of which have some very beautiful character designs for both male and female characters...
Michi Himeno usually worked on the female characters and Shingo Araki usually worked on the male characters from these shows...
Shingo Araki has passed away in 2011 but Michi Himeno is still around... She is in her late 60s now... She still works on promotional material for Anime and Manga stuff... Here is a picture of her... : https://vgmdb.net/artist/53224
It was quite pleasant to find out that some of my favorite character designs from Anime were done by a woman... :)
