SpoilerTIF on Survivor (First Episode Spoilers)
Did anyone watch the premiere of Survivor last night?
There's a TIF on one of the tribes. She explained her whole story about how her parents didn't support her transition, but then her mom got sick so she moved back home to take care of her before she passed away.
Later in the episode (SPOILERS), Jeff Probst shows up to pull 'Jackson' away from the tribe. Jeff explains that she kept medical information from production which is a big no-no on Survivor since the show is so physically intense. Basically, she's been on Lithium since her mom died (Lithium treats mania and bipolar disorder). And the TIF decided to just wean herself off of it and go cold turkey on the island without telling production. As the filming date approached, she realized she wasn't completely weaned off (she had two doses left) and she admitted everything to production the day before filming. Jeff told her the show was too physically and psychologically demanding for someone going through withdrawal for anti-psychotic meds and would have to take her off the show.
I thought this was so in line with what TIPs tend to do... First, she made her own medical judgments without seeing a doctor about it - (putting her own personal desire to play Survivor above everything else). She withheld important medical information from production (affecting her own wellbeing and the wellbeing of the people she'll be living with - mental illness, withdrawal, and mania is not something to play around with). AND she took a spot on the show from someone else who would've followed the rules and been allowed to stay and play the game.
As a Survivor fan, it annoys me that someone would apply only to flout the rules like that and get themselves kicked off right away. On the other hand, I'm glad this season will be that much less woke right off the bat.

edit 2: Now she admitted that she waited until the day the alternate was sent home before telling production the truth. That means she waited until she couldn't be replaced at the last minute, forcing production's hand. The Survivor fanbase really despises her right now.
Passing is not a concept in radical feminism I don’t know why they keep bringing it up as if we invented it.
“Passing as female” is something from the transgender/transsexual world. Passing as female is a goal that some transsexuals have because they despise their own sex.
Radical feminists don’t have a list of things women need to have or do to “pass” as female and thus be considered women. We often talk about the myriad ways that men and women physically differ but only because transgenderists started claiming they could become us.
If you’re a human female adult you are a woman. It’s a simple, liberating philosophy. It’s the trans, traditional and liberal feminist communities that have all these requirements and rules and strategies on what someone has to do to become a woman or pass as a woman or be a “real” woman.

Sex dysphoria in men might be caused by male sexual violence, but I doubt even a significant percentage of TIMs hate their own sex. By and large, TIMs are obsessed with "passing" because it's part of their sex drive -- both the autogynephiles and the gay TIMs who do it to attract men. I suspect the majority of those 5-10% of TIMs who do get their penis inverted are convinced it will increase their sexual pleasure.
(I use sex dypshoria to emphasize what gender dysphoria used to be defined by: the persistent wish to be rid of one's genitals.)

In this fantasy world where men could ever in a million years pass as women, and somehow despite a million years of humans always being able to tell that WOC are women, we suddenly no longer can.
There is no litmus test. Everyone can always tell when a man is pretending to be a woman. The only women I personally can't tell are actually not men are TIFs who use T and have an apple body type. And I don't think these TIFs should use women's facilities for this reason, even if they are technically entitled to.

I think it's another desperate ploy: make lesbians so grateful for their help they'll want to sleep with them. Even have their children!
The reasoning, if you can call it that, seems to go something like: 'All racists are cis; some racists think some WOC are not beautiful; all cis people think all TW are not beautiful; so, all cis people are racists as well as transphobic.' It's like term logic on acid with a touch of ADHD.
Which leads to the question “So why are you TIMs so desperate for these evil racist transphobic cis women to fuck you?” Which of course he wouldn’t answer because it’s rape by coercion he’s after.
