Many women (you know, females) DO live with a background fear in their lives. As someone’s who has been raped twice, sexually assaulted countless times (haven’t we all) and been in a physically and sexually abusive relationship, damn straight I am ALWAYS aware a man can choose to hurt or violate me. It’s always in the back of my mind when I’m out and about, or have to interact with strange men.

The fact this person wants women who refuse to kowtow to cosplaying males and understand basic biological facts to “live in fear” everyday suggests to me that it’s either a male who has never listened to women in his life OR an extremely privileged and sheltered female who is happy to throw women under the bus for a crumb of male approval.
