I'm not sure if there is a desire for it, but here's a post in which you can discuss the closing of Ovarit at the end of next month. Make sure to give some love to u/girl_undone for all the work she has done to keep this site running in some of the main posts.

When r/thisneverhappens was banned on reddit we had close to 7,000 users and were growing-- people from all over the political spectrum posted. I never got a notice for any violation or warning before it was shut down.

But all the GC subs were being banned and so some people at that time reached out to me to scrape the data from the sub. They identified themselves as r/GC users, but otherwise I do not know who they were, but I was happy to share the data.

I suspect that some of them went on to found Reduxx and maybe some other forums/sites that didn't catch on quite as much. Subsequently, the message that "this never happens" is out there in the world more than ever now and has a life of its own.

I do have https://saidit.net/s/thisneverhappens/ but I'm not sure it is worth maintaining now. If someone feels strongly about it and spends more time on saidit, I can add you as a moderator (granted you are a reliable poster here).

I'd encourage you to follow Reduxx and contribute to them.
