i am ENRAGED cannot properly digest this UTTER MADNESS for christ's sake 🤬 simonjedge said it best

I will vote for whichever party pledges to root your improper influence out of every government department and state-funded body. Politicians and senior civil servants have allowed dangerous maniacs to wield extraordinary invisible power. It must stop. It will stop.

what are they claiming the nursery is doing to make her "doubt her mind"? I don't understand how they can intrude on a child's imagination at this age... Let the kid play with whichever toys they like, let them pretend the games they want during playtime, right? Are they forcing them to play with gender specific toys or something?

Toddlers can barely communicate basic immediate desires. I don't understand why they think they're expressing a complex knowledge of a long term inner psychology or why it even matters. Male and female toddlers shouldn't be treated any differently anyway, except in some details of diaper/potty training issues & so on. Just let them be kids, and see how they develop.

I was curious, so I went looking.

Metro article

"In the months before she started nursery, my four-year-old daughter would often say she was a boy. It came unprompted, bubbling up from somewhere pure and certain inside her. My husband and I took to asking whether she felt like a boy or girl, or neither, to let her know we were listening and keeping tabs on any progression either way."

However, now a teacher at school has told her that she's a girl and that she's always a girl. This has caused indescribable mental torment. "Either way, the damage is done. She’s been less likely to talk about her gender with us, and when she does it’s often to affirm her femininity. She’ll talk about stereotypically girly things like princesses in a way that makes me feel like she’s parroting things she knows girls are ‘supposed’ to like."

And why is this parent so interested in and protective of their four-year-old's special gender identity? Guess. Go on, guess.

"Anti-bullying policies aren’t cutting it. Not for my daughter, or for anyone in the trans community – as a trans man, I know this firsthand."

Ding ding ding!

Either way, the damage is done

wow, if one comment from one preschool teacher can destroy your entire gender identity, maybe it was a little too fragile to begin with. This whole thing is so farcical.

They screech that kids "know who they are!" and no one could possibly groom a child into being trans, but somehow they're deathly afraid that one comment will make their children "cis."

my four-year-old daughter would often say she was a boy.

Okay but no one dared to ask the kid why she thinks that?

She’ll talk about stereotypically girly things like princesses in a way that makes me feel like she’s parroting things she knows girls are ‘supposed’ to like."

UGH. I wonder who has given her the idea that girls are supposed to like princesses?

The teacher who's told her she'll always be a girl because that's the SIMPLE FUCKING TRUTH or the trans-identified mother who kept on asking her every day for months whether she "felt like a boy or a girl"? Anyone want to bet?

That poor child.

Lmao so this girl is just "parroting" girl stereotypes and being brainwashed into believing she's in fact a girl, but every other child who spews the opposite sex stereotypes is a complete free thinker at age 2?

so not surprising...fucking up your child to validate your mental illness.

I frequently look after my landlords son and he often asks me to paint his nails. It's adorable, so I say yes. But you bet your ass that before the first time I did it, I had a chat with his mom to see what she thinks of it. I wanted to make sure I wasn't sending him into an environment where painted nails would mark him for castration....

The fact we even need to consider this says how sick the trans movement is. When I was a kid, rocker guys wore nail polish and makeup, long hair, no big deal because they were men and knew where to pee. Now I'm in (maybe formerly) the indie nail polish scene and if you don't bow and scrape to the fetishes you get kicked out. WOC seem to be the most targeted too, which really pisses me off.

Two year olds also recognize their T-Rex identity. Should we let them start leaning into that? Weirdos. Fuck are y’all on about??

in the sims little kids go through a phase sometimes where they just wear a full bear costume and wanna be a bear.

they always grow out of it even when the parents accept their decision to be a bear and sometimes the parents even dress as a bear with their kids to show support.

Is this in Sims 3 or 4? That’s hilarious and adorable. I love The Sims lol.

Wholeheartly yes please. Two years old dont want surgeries to play a realistic dinosaur, they just roam around and make noises.

When I was little I told my family my new name was Lizard. So they all called me Lizard for a few days. My family validated my cold blooded, reptilian, scaly identity and I still grew up as Homo sapiens :(

I was a frog for a week, when I was about five. I hopped and made ribbit noises and croaks.

Surprise! Still a homo sapien, still a woman.

Research suggests that children as young as 2 recognise their trans identity. Yet, many nurseries and schools teach a binary understanding of pre-assigned gender.

LGBTQ-inclusive and affirming education in crucial for the wellbeing of all young people!

My child's already learning from her teacher to doubt her thoughts and fear her mind, her very self.
