Can you explain what’s going on here please?

Someone claimed that Trans identified females are not female. Someone else responded that they themselves are a trans man and that they disagree. The first person then claimed that the other persons post history is proof that they are not a trans man, but a woman. This claim received a lot of upvotes, which is strange because trans activists also claim that trans people are whatever they say they are and that nobody fakes being trans. Yet when a person claims to be trans identified while disagreeing with a popular TRA narrative, they themselves accuse them of faking being trans

Thank you very much.

No matter how long I follow this topic, there’s always some dizzying new exchange to parse, some logic that will forever elude me.

Imagine explaining any of this to someone from even 30 years ago.
