If it was about safety, a third, gender/sex neutral space would be an agreeable solution. But it isn't about safety, it is about affirmation.

I'm fine with black, asian, whatever only spaces as I understand that people who are not white might not want white people in their spaces. I'm fine with kids having their spaces. And older people, and people with mental health issues, and people with visual impairment and deaf people. As the fucking issue is that people with less social power who are more likely to be harmed or misunderstood in mixed environments might want their own fucking space. Trans can have their own space for god's sake. Women have a right to define their own spaces and police that too.

I haven't been able to watch Jeopardy since Trebek died, and the increasing wokeism and gender bullshit in the Jennings-Bialek era is a big reason why. The show is supposed to be about knowledge and facts, and here's this LARPing dude being "affirmed" as the highest-winning "woman" in its history. It was on the TV in the hospital waiting room when I had to go to the ER for an minor injury. One of the contestants was a theythem ("Rowan" I think, a really annoying would-be lesbian who giggled after every response). I went to the vending machine and then the cafeteria before it closed. Sitting through this reality-allergic tripe would have caused more pain than the injury itself.
