Send him to the fields in California's Central Valley or slaughterhouses in Nebraska, a cattle farm in Texas, tobacco fields in North Carolina, corn and soybeans in the Midwest, hops in the Pacific Northwest. Fishing in Alaska. Tell him that whatever he can accomplish in that time, it's because of whatever health and structural soundness his body currently has.

People undermine all that health or soundness, however much they have, when they transition. The doses of hormones the body isn't supposed to have, the surgeries, the continue stress and the added fear of what happens when people find out, the narrowing of social circles and opinions...how is that healthy? How is that a better life? Is there another illness out there that's treated by leaning into it instead of trying to help the patient out of it?

Almost twenty years ago, I had three daughters under 4. And there was this business that was positioned to be a destination for birthday parties for little girls — and it was like a kid glamour shots thing. The girls got makeovers with makeup and fancy clothes and then pictures taken. I said that if anyone invited my kids to something like that, I’d politely decline and say we had a prior commitment.

And all these super-liberal feminists with no kids went hard to try and shame me for not wanting THAT to be an experience for my daughters. Like i HAD to take them to every party or whatever because otherwise it would be social suicide or something. I just said, “I’m their mother. It’s my JOB to tell them no to things but also yes to things i think will be good for them or benefit them. I don’t think kid glam makeovers is a necessity.”

Exactly. You can't say an obese kid should exercise more and control their diet, but you're perfectly fine in saying kids should castrate themselves before even reaching puberty.

This is such a good point. A few years ago, The Los Angeles school district posted videos by some activist on social media who whined that its abusive to make a distinction between healthy and non-healthy foods. And that its abusive to say that a severely obese kid should lose weight or cut out junk food. But this same district will encourage dyphoric young girls to cut their breasts off.

Guess I'm Literally Genociding my own kid then. I let him wear nail polish when he asks, also buy him sports stuff when he's interested, but always tell him he's allowed enjoy whatever he likes (age appropriately of course).

I think that’s at the real root of the rabid allyship: cognitive dissonance. The allies want so badly to believe that they’re Good People - their entire self image is built on that - that they cannot accept that transgenderism and the movement built around it isn’t what they thought it was, because they will lose their sense of self.

It’s very similar to the way many Catholics, especially women, refused to believe any of the molestation accusations against priests.
