It's astonishing how often they trip themselves up this way. They simply can't navigate all the sharp corners, U-turns and dead ends of their own ideological idiocy.

They also get the meaning of "immaculate conception" wrong.

I am dumb. The only misconception about this I know of is that it refers to Jesus’ conception in Mary, while the correct definition is that Mary was also born of a virgin. Anyone want to fill me in?

Yes, this is correct. Immaculate conception doesn't refer to Jesus at all. The moment of her conception, she was born free of original sin. That's what it refers to.
