I'm looking forward to meno, because peri is heck. Do I think hot flashes are a period? Nope. Is my PMDD a period? Nope. Am I sitting here right now spotting because apparently 5 months is the winning number yet again, and I still haven't had my last period yet?!?!? Maybe. Will I have my period by this weekend? Signs point to yes. Do I hate any man who thinks they understand this purely female experience? Also yes.
Men don’t have periods, and you’re a man, Dennis
If I was experiencing what felt like period symptoms but no bleeding, I would take a pregnancy test.
It's amazing how people think being "trans" suddenly makes a man an expert on the female body.
They are taking the same amount of E consistently every day. So why would the E tell their brains once a month to make their smooth muscles contract? It’s literally nonsense! They don’t have the slightest clue how a woman’s natural hormones work, what is actually contracting in an actual woman’s body (her womb), or why it contracts (to remove the blood/tissue)
And in a nutshell what these idiots are saying is “we have periods (bleeding) only without the bleeding!
Ive read they skip the e and take progesterone for a week to attempt to mimic the female cycle.
I am really enjoying the elaborate extremes these men are going to to show that they really do not know any women.
Many men can live with and around women all their lives and barely listen to a single thing we have ever said.
This is so true that it makes me want to vomit. I'm the only female in my family other than a little girl and an adult pickme who centers men so bad
"symptoms of periods include....menstruation..." LOL. What an idiot.
Also, I'm not saying they're "claiming experiences [we] don't have a right to." I'm saying they're claiming experiences they can't biologically have. If you aren't bleeding, you aren't menstruating, and you aren't having a period.
They don't even have a fluctuation in hormones that would bring on any kind of "symptoms." They take the same amount every day.
This guy really does have a period fetish.
They say they get a period because they have "all of the symptoms besides bleeding" Which is literally saying ",I don't have a period" Because they're not bleeding I don't feel cravings or headaches and think I'm on my period. Unless I am ALSO bleeding. They are brain dead. This is 100% willful ignorance and stupidity.
The commentary is golden, thanks.
I am distressed that I have forgotten to refer to my occssional headaches or bloating as a "period" for the last 20 years. I was confused I suppose, because I was not bleeding. Clearly I have forgotten all the biology anyone ever taught me...
At this rate, everything is going to be a period just like everything is queer.
I always love your edits. Green was the best. That one floored me.
I have talked about this topic a LOT.
Yeah, because it’s a fetish
Too much and too often, honestly; but I think it's important that we all know this so that we can be comfortably and certifiably smarter than transphobes and terfs (though, let's be real, it doesn't take much to be smarter than them)!
I have a feeling I’m not about to be wowed here…
Hormones in general are very important for our entire body: it can help us regulate various functions, and without hormones, we get sick. REALLY sick. You could be alive without a high enough hormone production, yes, but you'd be miserable: constant hot flashes, brittle bones, joint pain, exhaustion- the list goes on. And we have all noticed that estrogen in particular not only helps with our emotional and mental well-being, it helps make our skin softer, our hair fuller, and changes the ways our body stores fat.
All men produce estrogen, just as all women produce testosterone. Adding fake estrogen just creates a man with a hormone imbalance
One change that isn't discussed nearly enough is that we also get periods. I personally use the term 'period' as an umbrella term which encompasses the myriad of symptoms that comes with it, including menstruation (the bleeding part). Why? Because some cis women can have cycles that exclude a whole host of symptoms, while others deal with all of them, and they still refer to it as a period.

Sir, are you….are you saying that a period is a …syndrome? A constellation of symptoms, not a distinct biological process?
Even women who don't bleed still efer to it as a period.
Umm, do you mean bepenised women? Because I’ve never heard it used by actual women
Symptoms of periods include: cramping, bloating, back pain, constipation/ diarrhea, menstruation, and emotional disregulation (including the worsening of mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, BPD, etc). With the exception of bleeding, we have the capacity to have all of those symptoms thanks to our very good friend, Estrogen! Estrogen affects smooth muscle, which the lower abdomen has a lot of. The lower abdominal walls, lower intestines, bladder and the uterus are all made up of smooth muscle- so when E sends the signal from the brain during her monthly routine for those muscles to contract, ALL of it will contract, which is WHY most of those symptoms occur.
So ovaries and an actual menstrual cycle are not needed for a period, but having a mental health flare is? (Not misogynistic, nope)
So when I ovulate, don’t conceive, and then proceed to have a withdrawal bleed, I’m not having a period if I don’t meet criteria?
That thing I skipped when I got pregnant isn’t a period because I didn’t get farty diarrhea and then wank furiously because of my femininity?
Anyway, I have to get ready to be a living being and go do my job, so please have a nice day! Stay safe out there, friends!
Mom is calling him to pick up his ‘panties’ off the floor, skid marked of course
Quick Edit: / will keep using the term 'period' because plenty of cis women do, even when it's not the 'accurate term. It doesn't matter, we aren't in a doctors office, and terfs/transphobes don't care about what words we use. Cis women 'misuse' the word period A LOT. Is it mostly because of how piss poor western sexual education is? Sure; but if cis women can use the 'wrong word' to describe their menstrual cycle, then so can we. No one corrects cis women about it unless they say something patently false (like, "you only start bleeding after sex" or something like that); but whenever we use it, we get dogpiled by terfs who, at the end of the day, DO NOT CARE what words we use. It is not and never has been about the words we use.
I don’t even know where to begin. TERFs are the bogeyman, he has a right to the term period because we don’t use the term period correctly, sex ed is crap…yeah, that’s rich
It has always always ALWAYS been about how they see us as "men claiming experiences [we] don't have a right to".
What an abuse of Parenthetical insertions
We could call it literally anything and they'd still be screeching the same things. We called it a pseudo- period and they raged. We call it a period and they rage. If we called it a menstrual cycle (or literally anything else), they would what? RAGE. Because it isn't about which word is used, it's about who's using the word. Quick Edit 2: Notice how I said I PERSONALLY use the word 'period', and no one noticed and assumed I said 'we should all call it a period'? Reading comprehension is dying.
Sir, you’re wrong. Even the fetishists know they should have required standards because losers like you are going to ruin it for all the losers. I’m loving it
A comment or his on the post:
No, they do not.
When a girl gets her first period, it means she started bleeding for the first time (and is likely scared shitless and very upset).
When a doctor asks a woman when her last period was, they’re asking her when she was bleeding.
When a girl says “No, I can’t go swimming today, I have my period”, she’s saying that she’s bleeding. If she were avoiding swimming due simply to cramps, she wouldn’t refer to that as her period, she’d say “I have cramps”.
“Period panties” are designed for the absorption of blood. Same with period products like tampons and pads.
If a woman says “I have a heavy period” she’s not saying she has epic cravings or massive emotional outbursts, she’s saying she’s BLEEDING enough to soak through pads and passing big clots.
If a menopausal woman says “Oh, I don’t get periods anymore”, she means she DOESN’T BLEED ANYMORE.
Oh, just fyi, OOP is a freak who wears Lolita shit. He’s possibly even more perverted and mentally ill than the average TIM.
The only women who are saying this shit, are handmaidens trying to make tims feel better. They'll lie and say they still get periods after hysterectomies, they'll say stomach cramps and period cramps are the same. I saw it so much on reddit when I was there.
They're pickme women who are in denial. They think that by telling these lies and soothing/affirming the egos of pornsick pigs, they'll get respected by them.
There's also the non zero number of tims who simply pretend to be actual, real women on reddit. They love to say dumb shit like this too
