Big yes to #3. Male cross-dressers got way less scrutiny when they kept it to themselves. Society can tolerate fringey weirdos when they're on the fringe. It becomes a problem when people who break social norms, also demand the advantages that come with being a normie.

It's amazing to me how they all insist they can't put their finger on why.
I can instantly see the issues, I think they don't want to because they're not things that can be minimized without surgery or fillers.
He doesn't pass because he has a long mid face, and a long philtrum, and you can see the beginnings of male pattern baldness in the middle of his hairline.
They'll say women can have these features too, but the reality is the extent is very different and all of the features together add up. Liv Tyler is regarded as very beautiful, and she has a long midface...but look at her face like you would a drawing, her nose ends one of her eyeballs widths down her face, and this man's ends significantly farther down
