The “clothes don’t equal gender!” people are typically the teen and tween girls who are fans of “transmasc” influencers like Ezra Butler. Since women and girls like Ezra are more often than not caught up in social contagions, they’re less likely to commit to the larp. To them it’s more of a fun little fad, and they’re also at the age where “I can do whatever I want!” is pretty much their motto. They don’t follow “rules”, so despite identifying as the opposite sex, they either don’t follow, or are blissfully unaware of, the rules put forward by the more vocal trans community (the males), which state that dress = woman, OBVIOUSLY! Those ones are almost always the AGPs, who are deeply devoted to the larp because their fetish demands it.
Of course, anytime I’ve asked those girls “So…you’re neither male in body nor in presentation…so what makes you a man?” they can’t answer. Ever.
I’m so tired of their defective psychology. There are enough real problems in the world, Conrad. Grow up.
