I absolutely agree. I was outraged that this Reddit group was glorified in the Washington Post recently and I made a post about it. https://ovarit.com/o/GenderCritical/664689/the-trans-americans-turning-to-guns-for-protection

Of course the article pretends that poor little trans women need to arm up because they are so under attack. We here in this community know differently. All these men with pink hair are going to do is shoot up a yoga studio or a Korean spa that told them either they were men, misgendered or side eyed them. It's certainly not to do with "protection". They are men with male pattern violence

I strongly encourage all women who are in countries that allow it to get training in firearm usage. You don’t have to actually own a firearm, just learn to use them and how they work.

And take self defense classes, too. Yes, men are stronger, but self defense helps you learn to stay calm and think on your feet in shocking situations.
