DiscussionAccidentally Clocked a TiF
Posted April 12, 2021 by Nasrin in Women

Well, I just ruined some young woman's day. I had to stop in at the bank to perform a wire transfer. Upon entering a clearly female voice welcomed us in, and I responded and started walking toward the open teller window (couldn't see the teller).

My friend who accompanied me asked who I was talking to and I said and signed, "The nice lady over there". Well...it was a TiF. I watched this young lady who was clearly trying to present as fully male just emotionally crumple. They'd had a mastectomy but were still so clearly female especially when she had to get up to walk to the printer.

We (teller and I) chatted, performed my transfer and at the end of it all she asked, quietly: was it obvious? I felt even worse when answering honestly, "yes".

Getting in the car it just struck me how sad it all is, to see such a beautiful young lady who had cut off her breasts and permanently damaged herself for...what? I feel sad as well that I clearly broke her heart but I couldn't bring myself to lie.

Maybe that's why so many go so far? It's really crummy in person to run into a TiF and have to shatter their illusions. People just don't want to make others feel badly so they "go along"? I don't know, but it's very sad for both of us (myself and TiF) for very different reasons.

It’s really ok to just say you’re bi lol. There’s basically no spaces outside ovarit where lesbians have exclusive access to anyway. Like what are you hoping to accomplish by making lesbian an umbrella term

ItzpapalotlDecember 29, 2022

Ikr. I just can’t stand the inaccuracy of it.

This stupid movement is all about taking words with actual definitions and meanings and just ...ruining them, just mangling language until it loses its meaning.

I’m bi, why would I want to call myself something I’m not?

If it becomes an "umbrella term" then male rapists think they could try to slip under that umbrella

ladyagathaDecember 29, 2022

Ohp, there it is! As if they need more help with that

SomeoneElseTired Of ThisDecember 29, 2022

You don’t get to erase me just because you don’t like that I won’t touch you. Take your homophobia elsewhere.

Why does "lesbian" being a p*rn category mean it's ok for bisexual women to have two words for themselves? Isn't "bi" also a category? So should it be ok for heterosexual women to call themselves bi because they are also attracted to men?

The OP says the term is useless because of p*rn so I guess they're ok with two types of marginalized women being degraded.

Yup, those two things have no logical correlation to one another. I’m guessing though he is saying that the word lesbian gets used in porn to refer to women who aren’t lesbians so why should it matter if the term is co-opted further? Lesbians are already being shit on so what’s a little more?

But the issue isn’t about bisexual women having two words, it’s the calling for the colonization of lesbianism by bisexuals, effectively leaving no word solely for lesbians….

cyrus⭐LesbianDecember 29, 2022

That's what I meant since if the word lesbian can be used by women that are attracted to men also it makes the word mean bisexual as well because lesbians by default can't share any word that includes attraction to men. Sorry could've been more clear on that. I type too fast for my own good.

I guess I'll call them woke-bisexuals making up words like omni or polysexual, call themselves queer even homosexual because they're SSA too so it's fine, and use the word 'gay' as an umbrella term but I have yet to see them use 'straight' in a similar manner. Which why not? They do it with gay men and lesbians, why not also with heterosexuals? It comes across like they have more respect for straight people or they view heterosexuality as concrete and real but homosexuality is more of a concept to them. At least be consistent with colonizing sexual orientations.

Men and women who date TIMs also claim to be lesbians

The left has made the word ‘lesbian’ meaningless

The right just thinks they are women who hate men.

Assailed on all sides

As if real lesbians haven’t been through enough

Homophobe.

Hmmm well... If those are our multiple choices, then I guess it's sayonara to "trans women", who now get to be tr💥nnys and sh🌚males again 🤷🏾‍♀️

(BTW mostly off-topic but i'm realizing that TIFs are so overlooked/ignored that i don't even think anyone has bothered to invent a slur for them? Wow....)

Works for me, along with the other t- word I don’t even think rates as a slur (didn’t they make it up themselves from “trans loon”?)

Ironic that it’s the name of a town in Scotland. Wonder if Sturgeon &co will make the town change its name so as not to offend TIMs?

LipsySchrödinger's waifuDecember 30, 2022

Ahah i do remember seeing that there's a town called tr00n.

Btw—if you're typing comments into a Disqus interface (or other such thing, with automated censoring of certain words) and you want to type a banned word with the letter 'o' anywhere in it, you can switch to a Greek or Russian Keyboard and just type one or more of the identical-looking 'o' character—which, apparently, registers as an altogether different entity. The resulting word made of mashed-up Roman and Greek/Cyrillic letters won't be caught by any censoring filters, and if you copypaste it into google you'll get zero search hits lol.

[Deleted]December 30, 2022

Thanks, but I’m only mentioning these creeps here, I don’t use any other sites where they enter the conversation at all, mercifully.

LipsySchrödinger's waifuDecember 30, 2022

Ahah yeah. I think Disqus comments even auto-mod words like "asshole" though

[Deleted]December 30, 2022

Good grief.

Wonder if it recognises the spelling “arsehole”?

LipsySchrödinger's waifuDecember 30, 2022

Probably. Wasn't "asshat" originally devised to circumvent autofilters?

[Deleted]December 30, 2022

No idea! I’m not that familiar with the US spellings/variations.

I've seen the straight/bi TIFs be called fujoshis since they often are. There's also "po*ners" which I think is newish

danaseilhanDecember 29, 2022

FYI, TIMs invented the tr..ny slur. It wasn't a slur originally.

[Deleted]December 30, 2022

Yes, it was their own affectionate nickname for themselves.

If we're going to start defining our language, or culture with porn as the jumping off point, then may the planet just get hit by a gamma ray burst and be done with it already.

rainDecember 29, 2022

That's such a weird argument. I guess we should just adapt our language to porn categories?
