Heartbreaking.

Adults across the board have failed children immensely.

In 10 years we are going to see an explosion of new detransitioners :(

I'm grateful this fad didn't catch me in my early twenties, when I was so immature and impressionable. I would absolutely have transitioned.

Same, I was a bi gnc autistic kid and there’s no way I wouldn’t have been transed in this day and age.

It's distressing enough just reading these accounts secondhand, let alone actually being the one duped by multiple what-are-supposed-to-be trustworthy medical professionals & as a child, no less.

I know. It's so tragic. Detransitioners' stories need to be heard! This needs to be stopped 😭

I also find it very telling how trans subreddits are against r/detrans,. It's truly a cult that hates you if you leave.

And the worst think now is they either have to live the rest of their lives stuck in those bodies, or have to fork out even more money to cosmetic surgeons to attempt to reverse some of the damage.
Either way, they can't reverse everything, and will never be able to fully move past what they did as a naive and unhappy teenager.

Trans ideology is nothing more than the medicalization and commodification of homosexuality and gender non-conformity. It blows my mind that it's considered ethical.

I was just talking to someone irl who is on the trans pathway and this breaks my heart.

We need our own Keira Bell case to wake up the American public.

It might not work if the mainstream media aggressively ignores it, though.
