Need Advice or SupportBeing a radfem in college is very lonely
I go to a relatively small liberal arts college, and I've basically had to go undercover as a libfem. I have my pronouns on the nametag on my door (I live in the dorms), and smile and nod when my friends talk about how hard life is for trans women. I act indifferent as three women I know come out as nonbinary within a month of each other, and I pretend not to see the "No Terfs Allowed" sign that my neighbor has posted on her door. The knowledge that my friends would hate me if they knew my beliefs keeps me up at night. Even my RA is nonbinary. She's amazing and I trust her completely, but I know that she would hate me, too. I love it here, and I love my program, but it's very lonely.
