How are you? Got anything on your mind? Not sure you want to make a post about it?

My (pregnant woman-centered) art was selected to go up in an OBGYN clinic! They want to pay me, but I can’t find it in me to name my price. I just want pregnant women to see it and feel good about themselves.
I accidentally outed myself as GC when talking to a friend about pregnancy multivitamins. I was advising her on what to expect in terms of pre-natal healthcare. In her country the most well-known brand of multivitamin is called Elevit, and I said, "There's a multivitamin called Ovarit that you should take." -face palm-
I wasn't worried about it because she's passively GC herself, but I just thought it was a hilarious Freudian slip and I was trying hard not to burst out laughing. She asked me to write it out in a message, which I did - with the correct name.
Fuck Reddit. Honestly. Fuck Reddit. Fuck all these shitty techbros cocknozzles jacking each other off. Women can't even have a corner to talk amongst themselves but they've got a whole string of rape subs.
I quit for a long time, but I started using Reddit again to find some recipes and to do some financial planning. I see a thread on my homepage where an American female politician behaves badly. Men in the comments calling her a dumb cunt, a bitch and a Karen. I point out how this is obviously really fucking sexist. "UMMM AUSTRALIANS CALL PEOPLE CUNTS ALL THE TIME," "YOU'VE CALLED A MAN A DICK BEFORE, THAT'S LITERALLY THE SAME, STUPID CUNT", "IT'S ONLY INSULTING BECAUSE YOU LET IT BE, STUPID CUNT" (...imagine saying that about literally other group??) "SHUT THE FUCK UP LMAO" Fifty fucking dudebros in my comments calling me a stupid cunt.
I just want to look at recipes and financial advise without having sexist garbage shoved down my fucking throat every second.
Fuck Reddit. Honestly, just fuck men.
It's amazing what they expect us to tolerate versus what they'll tolerate.
Small cat related rave: we are a foster family for stray kittens/young cats. Basically meaning we feed them, take them to the vet, socialise them with our own cats, socialise them with people and so on. A few days ago, we took in a rather scared and bit angry fluffy dude and we thought it would take a couple of weeks to even pet him.
Yeah, tiny dude walks around the house now, loves cuddles, eats like a champ and is one happy tiny cat.
Good job!
Thank you, we are so happy and surprised with his speedy socialisation! It's such a sweet little guy.
I had to write an American business with an inquiry, and got a reply "Dear Ms. Falls". Normally I wouldn't notice such things, but knowing how woke that industry is, I found myself imagining them googling my name to figure out what prefix (is that how it's called?) would be appropriate xD Cant'be too safe with all those gender specials roaming the intewebs!
Might have lost all my friends today because I was sick of the implication that being homosexual (as in "genital preferences") was a pipeline to fascism and replied to a link someone posted in our "political discussions" group chat (it was some video on the "terf to nazi pipeline" or something). Probably shouldn't have. A discussion kinda started so I left the chat to spare my heart rate, though I'm still in our regular chat. Hopefully we can all pretend it never happened and I'll go back to my usual lowkey presence in that friend group, since they're literally the only people I talk to. I hate this gender topic. I hate it so much.
Edit: Ok probably haven't lost all my friends lol. I think we will successfully go back to our previous fragile peace (with most of them, at least) as long as we don't talk about gender identity stuff ever again. God, I need some radfem friends so I don't have to depend on this group exclusively.

Good that he was found guilty on every count. I know that's something that rarely happens and I hope he doesn't get a light sentence.
My friend won her FOUR AND HALF YEAR court battle and her abuser was charged guilty on all 10 counts !!!
Nice! Needed to hear that today. :)
I wonder if my cats are too loud. They are outside/inside cats and are not only extremely talkative (they meow all the time), they seem to do everything in extra - loud. Their purring, frankly, is not a nice, calming sound, it is more like trying to sleep next to a busy road.
Also, one of them actually managed to train an elderly neighbor to ring the doorbell for him when he feels too lazy to use his cat door.

I’m sorry because that has to be annoying, but this is hilarious 😂
Oh, it is adorable. We only recently moved here and it took this cat about a week to be extremely popular in the whole neighborhood. At our last house, the landlord was the next door neighbor. He worked nightshifts a lot. As not to disturb his wife when he got home, he would sleep on the couch with my cat. Apparently, the cat somehow managed to learn his schedule and waited for him. The landlord got so hooked on the feline company that he actually came looking for my cat. He jumped in front of the moving truck last minute to ask, if the cat maybe could stay with him. If that poor man knew that the little devil made new friends /slaves in no time flat, he'd probably be heartbroken.
I hope your former landlord got a kitty of his own after. They’re great companions.
That said, mine has zero loyalty. Whoever is paying him attention is his best friend. He’ll crawl over guests and the few times we’ve had maintenance people in he sat politely at their feet and gave them this look like “why aren’t you petting me? You are here to adore me, right?”
He had one! His daughter, who lived there as well, had two. My illoyal cat has... Powers, I guess. My other cat reminds me of Lenny from Mice and Men - people don't think much of him and he is huge and somewhat uncattish in his whole behavior (he accidentally pushes people a lot) but he loves me in a fierce and loyal way I secretly enjoy a lot. Superstar cat likes me a lot too, but he is so used to everyone adoring him that he is somehow careless.
Cats are the best.
I wonder that about my younger one. She screams when I go next door to my mum’s unit, and I can hear her from there (they have connecting walls). She also screams when it’s time for 11pm or 4am playtime, and I worry my neighbour on the other side will hear her.
