I'm so happy for her.
I heard that Brittney also wanted more children, but was forced to have an IUD under the rules of her conservatorship. I hope with the end of the conservatorship also ends the sick ownership her father had over her body. Even if she doesn't want children, if she was forced to have and IUD, I wonder if the first thing she wants to do is have it removed?
YAY BRITNEY!!!
Glad that she can finally be out from under the thumb of those who would use and abuse her! I hope she has good support.
This is such a good day for her! I hope her struggle leads to better checks and balances for conservatorships.
So happy for Britney, and hopefully this is a win for all women. Let others be put on notice that you can't do this to women and get away with it forever.
The extreme violations of Britneys privacy (her father spying on her), the overly controlling decisions of every choice she made (how many cans of coke she was allowed per day), and the limit of her miniscule and inconsequential choices (whether or not she was allowed to take a car ride with her boyfriend), along with, of course, the lack of parenting controls and personal medical decisions- all of these things sound outlandish to many, but they are daily freedoms that are stripped away from millions of women in the world.
I am so happy that she is free from this. That she was dealing with this from 2008 is incomprehensible.
Britney, I really do adore you and wish you the very best.
Britney's conservatorship began directly after her having public mental illness related meltdowns. Jamie Spears' control over Britney in this conservatorship in addition to how female celebrities are treated in Hollywood sure sheds light on why the fuck she was having these breakdowns in the first place.
Oh man watch this channel deep dive, they show clips of how the paparazzi hounded her in public. I literally could not watch it, I was getting anxiety just seeing it can't imagine living it.
AMAZING NEWS!!!
