RantDoes anyone else have a horrible time taking men at face value
Posted February 8, 2024 by [Deleted] in Women

I came across a tiktok of a man crying real tears and my first assumption was that he was joking.

Mens humor is largely cruelty, harassment, setting you up to be upset or emotional in some way, making the recipient the butt of the joke ect.

I see it on and offline so frequently that i can no longer fucking take men seriously at all. They approach me and I immediately think "He's gonna harass me, or make some shitty joke, or insult me."

Its literally to the point where i see men in actual tears allegedly feeling empathy or grief or something, and im sitting there waiting for a punchline.

Im disengaged and on edge and so far removed from whats actually happening when a man is being emotional at all because they've pretty much zapped all my empathy with their obnoxious at best, dangerous at worst shenanigans.

Men are out here dismantling their own humanity and they dont even realize it.

Anyone else experiencing this?
