I have two senior cats. One is 18 and is beginning to decline. The other 14 and doing ok, although she has suffered from issues all her life, and was likely blind from birth.
The 14 year old went from fine to decline in a weekend and passed before I could get her to the vet this morning.
Her name was Artemis and she was a little fluffy jellybean who wandered up to me just a day or two after I lost my grandma. She was hilarious and spacy, and LOUD, but prone to unexplained seizures and was almost totally blind. Taking good care of her was difficult sometimes, and she was getting a lot more antisocial with age.
I'm a bit shocked as I was mentally preparing for my oldest cat to go; but I suppose they don't have to go "in order".
Marmalade boys! Just adorable. How do you get anything done with that much cuteness in your home?
Well we do have a hard time getting stuff done but it has more to do with them constantly begging for food than with their cuteness. We tried everything to keep them off the counters but just gave up when we realized it was futile.
But Mary, they're obviously staaaarving!!!
They certainly make it seem that way 😒
But I can see their ribs they're so emaciated... Oh wait, those are stripes. Never mind.
'oh! jail for mother! jail for mother for One Thousand Years!!!!'
