My old car suddenly broke down, and my parents offered to loan me 5000 to buy a new one used. But when we were looking, since they were loaning me the money, they were basically getting the "final decision" in the car we picked. There were some I thought would be good choices that I wanted but they said no. They would have run well but they were older and not nice looking. And they would be embarrassed to have someone see their daughter in a bummy looking vehicle around town. Instead they bought me a car that looks very nice and shiny, but it was marked way down in price bc it has serious engine issues and drives like shit so I won't be able to leave town in it becuase its unreliable. So I'll have to pay that back to them.
I'll be using the car only to drive 10mins back and forth to work, and save up for a nice one. Thankfully I have a good paying job and wont have to pay rent d/t living with my parents, so i could save up and pay for a new car in cash really fast. I won't be involving my parents in the decision in my next car, I'm concerned about their poor judgement. A friend of mine's mom offered to help me with screening and dealing with dealerships bc she's good at it, once I have picked a car.
I need tips on picking cars and car shopping!! Anything helps. Thanks <3
I love this! AskReddit is a wonderful concept, but unfortunately it's full of typical redditors
That would be fun. I really miss Reddit's AskWomen. Not the people, but the concept.
Omg I can't believe we hadn't thought about this yet!! This is an excellent idea!
This is a wonderful idea, especially since the "AskReddit" posts about women, and nearly every "AskWomen" post on Reddit, is full of gross dudes basically just asking how to get a woman. I imagine a circle like that here would be filled with really interesting questions and women actually trying to help other women, so yes, please!
Every day on the front page is some variant of, "Women, what do you think about this in bed?", "Women, what's your weirdest fetish?", "Women, what can a guy do that'll seal the deal after a date?". It's all so skeevy and half the comments are obvious men posing as women in some sort of dual fantasy lol
