I'm not sure if this is the place to post this or if there is anywhere on the website I can talk about this, but I think it fits because it's a women's issue that's not really about feminism.
You might have noticed that Elon musk made a post against Kamala Harris today. I won't bother linking it, it's stupid and you can just go look it up yourself if you want to see it. He's basically criticizing her for being courteous in a room full of disabled people and while she did do the pronoun thing, that's simply to be expected at this point. It will be a while before people finally stop doing that
But I just want to say that I am not at all cool with a highly influential billionaire starting a shit flinging campaign against a political candidate. I know he has the right to his opinions, but he seems very obviously to be trying to swing public opinion against Kamala. This isn't about holding her accountable for anything she did, it's just childish shit flinging over nothing
From following his account for a while I've come to notice that he is quite immature, as are his followers, as he is worshiped mostly among the young male crowd, like Andrew Tate.
I just wanted to get you all's opinions on this. We all saw what happened with Hillary and I just fear that we're in for another repeat of the disgusting misogyny that tainted every aspect of Hillary's political campaign. People just couldn't get over the fact that she was a human female, and many voted for Trump just because they couldn't stand the thought of a woman in office. I dread going through that again...
