Availability. Never seen these before. And I doubt they’d be cheap if they’re not factory made like potato chips are.

Dietary restrictions means that some of us have to make cumbersome things ourselves if we want to taste variety.

really? in the UK every supermarket sells rice and corn cakes I wish I could tell you the ingredients list but I finished a pack yesterday and threw the wrapper out, its very simple and they are normally like £1 for a stack.

honestly thought they were a universal thing like loaves of bread or bags of rice.

We have some rice products, but nothing like the flavours I see in the video.

I can eat these (but they taste like cardboard and the flavoured ones have ingredients I can’t eat): ($3.50/ 127g = 2.34 euro / 127g)

I can eat these too, ($3.98/100g = 2,66 euro/100g) but I haven’t seen them in store on the self in a very long time. Ordering online means my online cart would have to exceed $70 in grocery items before the delivery to the in-store pickup fee is waived. https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/Good-Thins-Rice-Sesame-Gluten-Free-Snacking-Crackers/6000197073647

And I’ve had repeated bad experience with online ordering just for the necessary grocery basics, so it’s not worth going to the trouble ordering these online.

yeah thats similar to what we get I just add my own flavours I like them with butter and cheese on top

The rice and corn cakes sold in the US are all puffed. This is just flattened leftover short-grain rice, which doesn't seem to puff up in the video. It's a handy use for leftovers and a microwave oven.
