Listen, I have zero fucking idea why so many straight women consider gay men to be more sympathetic to women than straight men, or good allies to feminism.
The only thing I can think of, is that they are so used to being treated like dogshit by men who are sexually attracted to them, that they mistake a man's total lack of sexual attraction as being treated well.
I have met some gay men that are relatively nice, just like with any group of people. But in general? Holy hell no. As a lesbian, gay men could give a flying fuck about us. The vast majority of gay men I have met have been raging misogynists. One even beat up a woman I was friends with, just because she asked him not to smoke in their shared apartment.
Who do people think invented that abomination of sexism call "drag shows"?? Straight men?? Nooooooooo. [edit: Philogynist disagrees and says it was straight men, go see her comment below.]
I would say, in general, the "nicest" men I've known (which is a LOW bar here), have been heterosexuals who came to be kinder because of their female partner. Or at least, they have conceded that their partner makes a better leader for the relationship, and have learned that life is better when they defer to her. He develops an understanding because she shares with him her experiences, and he wants to keep her, so he develops some level of sympathy for the female experience.
AM I TRIPPING BALLS HERE?? This is so much the opposite opinion of most people.

The technical term is twink, and they can only “pass” so long as they stay very skinny (doable but easy to lose) and young (impossible).
Not just skinny but also wear heavy makeup, watch lighting, take care with angles, and depend heavily on photoshopping/filters
He "passes" only to the degree his photos pass. When you see unfiltered/unaltered photos of him, he's unmistakably male.
His profile is painfully male. He looks a lot more feminine from the front, but the moment he turns his head...ouch.
