So, this is a rant about the gym. I have quit using the women's locker room due to a TIM that now I think of it, I haven't seen in a few weeks. Maybe it's been two months or more.
I go to the gym today simply to do cardio on a machine and then get out after 45 mins. When I am wiping the handles of the machine off, I catch sight of a male bodied figure who was using a machine behind me.
He is dressed in all army fatigues with a hood over his face and a metal face mask that I can only describe as looking like the sort of mask you would see on a medieval suit of armor. He looks creepy and not in the way a TIM or a pervert looks creepy. He looks like he is the sort of malcontent who would bust out a gun. I live in the USA and in a state that has seen it's fair share of mass murder in schools, movie theaters, stores.
Our gym was closed for three days around a year ago because someone made a shooting threat on their club page.
When I spoke to my Nigel about this individual he said the man was probably cosplaying and wasn't any threat. It's likely, but why dress up as a loon to go to the gym?
I was already sick of the TIM, I get sick of men in general hogging the weight area and being disrespectful of personal space. Seriously, now I'm thinking that I have a squat rack and rower at home and can use my bike and quit the gym.
