I just saw a post about a women-only retreat on my social media and now I am toying with the idea of going to one, maybe next year. The one from the post was already over, but they do it every year. I went and checked out the page of the woman who is in charge and she seems to be an awesomely creative person. The description of the retreat says that the retreat includes doing some arts and crafts together, some moderate hiking plus some practices. They don't say what kind of practices , but from what I have seen so far happening on other women-only retreats is that they always have something esoteric about female energy and this why I have never been to one yet. I really like the idea of women doing some arts and crafts together, I like the idea of women exploring the nearest caves, I am also very drawn to the idea of living in a women-only place just for a week. That said I absolutely hate all the esoteric stuff, even without the focus on so called female energy, but if there is something like that - I will be annoyed.
I wish I could find a women-only retreat run by a radical feminist, though:)
Anyway, have any of you been on a female-only retreat? If yes, how was it? What did you do there? Did tou enjoy your stay there?
