Many teens have admitted that they learn how sex works from porn. Recently, France (and a few US States) have moved to ban porn sites that lack meaningful age verification. Assuming this continues, I'd like us to imagine that porn becomes largely inaccessible to teens, at least for the purpose of this discussion.

How then, will teens learn about having sex? Not just that they can (or how it technically works), but the finer details, expectations, and similar.

How was your generation exposed to sex? Do you think it was helpful? Can you imagine a better way to approach a teen's curiosity or desire for sex?

This circle is not for news about violence.

If any part of your text / link post is about trans, post it to o/GenderCritical. Trans related image posts go in o/TransLogic or o/Radfemmery.

If you post about trans topics in o/Women your post may be locked and / or deleted. We cannot move posts around.

This is a friendly and supportive community for general topics which are not contentious. Posts which start arguments, or which devolve into arguments in the comments, are extremely likely to be removed. This is a friendly and supportive general chat community, not a debate or argument board.

Examples of topics which belong here:
