DiscussionHow sensitive are you to yelling?
This question can be interpreted broadly, so feel free to answer in whatever way is most salient to you.
I've been thinking recently that I seem to be more sensitive to it than most. To me, it signifies losing control over one's emotions, which I do not respect; and further, prioritizing one's own emotional expression over the health of a relationship, which I also don't respect, and which hurts me deeply when I'm personally involved. I realize that's subjective and am open to dissenting opinions. Also, in case it's not clear, I'm generalizing; there are times when yelling is appropriate, but I see those times as rare exceptions.

Make sure you set up a funnel for all new members to be screened. The minute somebody let's one person in as a favour, is usually the minute I see lesbian discord broken down,

I'd rather a small discord with 10 lesbians, than a 50 person discord, with lesbians as yet again, another minority.
Absolutely. I'd be the only one with access to links/creating links so that there's no chance someone can let someone else in as a favor, like you mentioned. I also agree on the server being small but 100% lesbian; I'm really tired of all "sapphic" discords being 99% bi women (no hate, I just want to meet more women who are like me.)
Your plan sounds great. Tho I feel like a new account popping up wanting to connect with lesbians, especially on a TERF site, has to be approached cautiously
Looking at the low score idk if that's downvotes? And if so are they coming from seasoned users here who know better than me, or from angry lurking TIMs maybe. Sigh It's always so complicated

Sounds interesting. Also sounds like a lot of work to properly vet people. You know the moment a TIM finds out they will try to game the system.
Yeah, that's always the thing about servers like these - you have to be so careful about how you vet. I've never had it happen to me personally but the mere idea of a TIM using a female family member or friend/partner to vet for them (or a TIM getting in somehow in general) is chilling, but that's precisely why I'd try to be as thorough as possible. It's not foolproof of course but I think in-depth questionnaires about rad ideology plus a voicechat usually filters them out pretty well.
Yes, I made an account just so I could join this. I've been feeling isolated as a radfem lesbian and I'm craving this, I would really love just dumping art, sharing feedback and get inspired/motivated!
