QuestionType A women: who do you like?
Are you drawn to other Type As, or do you prefer to be around people who are more laid back? Does the type of relationship (e.g. platonic, romantic, business) affect your answer?
As far as business relationships and friendships I like being around other Type A people because I feel like they “get” me and we have similar visions and goals for things. My Type B friends don’t like to make itineraries for trips and they’re often late to things.
But romantically I’m attracted to Type Bs. they keep me grounded and calm, and their self-assuredness and easygoing demeanor is very attractive to me.
I prefer people who are more relaxed and easy-going, regardless of sex or type or relationship.
That doesn't mean people can't have drive and passions, but the ability to "step back" and have perspective on what you're doing, and not take everything too seriously, is critical.
Type A for sure. I need someone to match me. I don't think there would be much friction because I can also take a step back when needed. I don't mind Type B in platonic friends but everything else I prefer Type A. What about you OP?
At work I like Type As. In my personal life I like Type Bs. Romantically I prefer Type B but not to the point they can't take the lead sometimes and share the load equally.
I'm with a total B, and that's really nice, because calm and gentle make life feel safer and saner, but I find myself frustrated when people around me aren't being productive, it feels unfair that I should be the only one hustling, and that has been a long term issue in our relationship. A mix of the two is probably ideal.
