So we all know about patriarchal religions and belief systems which are misogynistic. I grew up going to church, but realized the religion I grew up in was a lie at a very young age. The religion I grew up in really emphasized traditional gender roles and upholding male power. I basically embraced spiritual beliefs and found my own belief system which works for me. Basically, I believe that the universe is ultimately a benevolent place. That the universe is rooting for us and cheering for us to win at life. That we are all just fellow travelers here on earth, until we cross over to the other side, which is not like this world, but a better world. I just find that for me personally, I have to hold onto something positive despite all the challenges and hardships of life.
I like alternate spirituality, I love learning more about dolores cannon, edgar cayce, and have watched YouTube videos featuring dolores cannon. I feel much more in tune with my spiritual side, and feel more connected to the universe and Spirit way more now then I ever did when I had to go church as a kid. I'd also like to know about any beliefs any of you follow or have that are uplifting and pro women or empowering? Or anything inspirational, etc.
