🧙‍♀️Feminist and Goddess Spirituality Weekly Post #2
Posted December 30, 2024 by CompassionateGoddess in Women

Rules: This discussion post is for women to discuss feminist and goddess spirituality, not for women to discuss patriarchal religions, male deities of any kind, or anti-spirituality. I realize that some goddesses are a part of some male dominated and patriarchal religions. Those goddesses can and should be discussed here, but they should be discussed from a woman centered and pro-female perspective.

The possibilities for this weekly post are endless! This space could be for us to discuss how we individually practice our spirituality, the goddesses we are currently studying or goddesses we have studied in the past, our current rituals or upcoming rituals, rituals we have completed in the past, resources we have found helpful, our artwork, writings and music dedicated to our feminist/goddess spirituality, other women’s artwork, writings, and music dedicated to feminist/goddess spirituality, books or articles we are reading or have read that talk about women’s feminist/goddess spirituality. There’s probably even more examples of what we could post that I didn’t even think to write down here!

Hello, ladies! I hope y’all have been doing well over the winter holidays and are looking forward to welcoming the new year! My cat, Tombo, is finally old enough to get fixed, and he is getting fixed on the 31st! I’m full of anxiety for him. I know it is the best thing for him and any female cats he could come into contact with to keep them all safe. If y’all could keep Tombo and the vet team that will operate on him tomorrow in y’all’s thoughts, that would make me feel a little easier.

As for what I have been up to spiritually, I’ve been connecting to the Earth by working in my nature journal and sketching my friend’s chickens from the photographs I took last month. I also walked outside yesterday with that same friend at my house, and we found two old bird’s nests: one was made with twigs and the other was so tiny and made with what looked like grass. I’ll need to snap a photo of the small nest I found. One day I hope to find a hummingbird’s nest!
