A lot of you helped me out recently when I posted about my feral kitten woes and told me to stay patient.
So here's a little update - I introduced drugs into the house. A catnip toy. While the kitten was unimpressed, the older cat was instantly hooked. Which in turn fascinated the kitten to no end. He came out of hiding to watch the older one being high. And then he fell in love. He started following the adult cat around. Adult cat seems a bit irritated, especially since the kid just imitates him (it is extremely fun to watch this). Essentially, the kitten still thinks, I'm not great, does not want to be touched, yet, this morning I woke up from something pouncing my toes - kitten found his way into the bed.
I'm so happy, because finally he seems like he is a happy and content cat kid and no longer like a miserable hostage. Thanks for helping me through this!
