I found a group on Facebook dedicated to helping women find pen-pals. Good old fashioned snail mail. I have always wanted to do this, and I was pretty excited to check it out. The rules specifically state ladies only.
I accept the rules, submit an app.
I get an accept, and start chugging through the discussions.
Whelp. It was good for the few minutes it lasted.
Cue older gentleman with the teeth of a horse stuffed into a Tavern wench cosplay, complete with corset and fake breasts squished into it.
All of the comments were bathing his thread in compliments and welcomes, offers of addresses for him to write to them.
I should have known better, especially with it saying Ladies only.
