I’ve been thinking about this recently. I think women who are trying to escape violent abusive ex partners should be entitled to opt in to receive the same treatment that those in the witness protection program receive.
New name, new life, new place, and being able to receive advice from a social worker who check in on her.
This should be for if her abuser goes off the rails and on the lamb in order to keep her safe while they look for him.
I know it’s simplistic. But i would be interested in hearing everyone’s thoughts.
