Need Advice or SupportWorry about the war in Ukraine
I guess all saw the Zelensky/Trump/Vance meeting or at least heard about it. I've worried about the war in Ukraine for years now. I know it's nothing compared to what it's like to actually live in Ukraine, but still, it worries me greatly. I've sent humanitarian help to Ukraine as that's all I can really do... I'm especially terrified about the stories (both past and present) about Russian soldiers raping and killing wherever they go. And now this meeting in the Oval Office... It was surreal seeing an American president talk to another president like he's a small child. It was bullying tactics. It was disgusting. And the hypocrisy!
I'm certain the rest of us have to prepare that the war will come to us. Europe has been too comfortable.I just hope we can work fast enough.
I think I'd just like to discuss/talk about it. It's hard right now, because I don't have a job and therefore don't see a lot of people on a daily basis with whom I can talk about this. Share my disbelief. And at the same time I know I can't do much...
What do you fellow Ovarites think of all this?
